In Maestro 17.10, Card Content and Card Selector are available in the palette but I could not find any documentation on these two components. The only KB article I could find is related to 18.05, link: Card Content Template.

      Hi Yulius,

I was actually in a process of writing a blog about it as I have used this feature heavily but since you asked, the Card Content Template combines the functionality of both the Card Selector and Card Content components. Cards basically provides a better UI over repeating elements design but the technology is still the same. If you do not want to use Card Content Template for any reason, you can build your own design using individual Card Content and Card Selector components. In order to use them effectively,

      1. You will need to drop card selector component inside repeating block. I would recommend using a standard block over card selector component as it allows greater flexibility to define the content of the card. You can write your own click even on a block to simulate Card Selector functionality.
      2. Drop a card content component outside the repeat block.
      3. Add a calculation rule on repeating block to return the card content, so that the number of repeats are aligned with relevant card content.
      4. Add a data field that persist the selected card's index and link that to the card content, so that correct card content can be displayed.
      5. Update that data field value on the click event of card selector/card selector tile to persist the repeating index e.g.data.$i
      6. Card content provides "$addItem()" and "$deleteItem(index)" methods if you wish to create your own add and remove card buttons.

As I mentioned, I will work with KB team to add a proper documentation for this feature.

Thanks Nirmal Solanki, I will try this out.
