Hi,

I'm considering adding a form load rule to a Composer form, similar to Maestro, but cannot find any Q&A or Product Documentation to provide details.

Any ideas?

Where do I search, what am I looking for?

Thanks

Mark

      Hi Mark,

Have you seen any of this documentation on Composer forms yet?

        Hi Chris,

thanks for the suggestion, but, yes I have read most of the Composer documentation.

The Form Designer pages don't mention form load at all, and the Business Rules pages focus on adding rules to components, like visibility and so on. I have not been able to find the Composer equivalent of Maestro's Form Load.

If I add a business rule to the form, how do I trigger it based on form load event?

        Thanks

There is no specific form load event but listening to the init event will get it at the start of the form. As far as the ordering goes it depends on what other fields it accesses as we have an optimisation that checks the dependencies and changes the order that the widgets gets the init events to minimise the number of other events that listen when a field value change occurs.

        Hi Glenn,

        thanks for the feedback.

OK, I'll need to take another approach to get around this challenge.

I have some ideas, but most of the ideas I can think of at the moment require a lot more work, So be it.

        Thanks

        Mark
