I want to prefill a dropdown with the list of all active forms in TM. What is the best way to do this (via a Fluent service).

Cheers,
Dan.

      Hi Dan,

I believe you want to build a DDS, and call it from a form?

I recommend you to set up your local IDE (IntelliJ or Eclipse) with transact SDK to develope this simple piece of code, although you can do it straightaway in TM (new DDS service).

Then use DaoFactory,  getFormDao(), and in this last one you can find several methods like getActiveAndProductionFormList() which will help you to achieve what you need.

Once you have your list, return it building the response as a json object.

PS. if you have different organizations, client, etc, you might need to specified the client code, etc...

Play with it and let me know if it's useful.

      Kind regards,

      Julio.

Thanks Julio. I'm having trouble finding any documentation on DaoFactory,  getFormDao(). Can you point me in the right direction?

        Hi Dan,

You can find the documentation is inside TM, menu Services Core API and Fluent API. Also some examples in Transact Services Guide.

If you like to install the SDK in your local: Transact SDK Download

Let me know if it's useful for you.

        Kind regards,

        Julio.
