We'd like to restrict the visibility of certain forms from being available in the Form Submission Data dropdown to our various departments. We've tried different configurations with Permissions and Groups but not had any success.
Do you have all the forms in the same organization?
I'm not sure if I understood the question but you may create groups and group access to avoid form access to certain users. Create groups and assign forms to those groups (Group Access tab in form). Then assign users to groups.
If you have organizations, and the forms are inside them, users from one organization shouldn't have access to another.
I hope this helps.
Hi Julio. Yes, they are all within the same org. It's not the form access we want to restrict. It's the access to the Form Submission Data. For example, we don't want our lending department to have access to the risk data but it seems Form Submission Data allows access to all forms. This is for reporting purposes. Reporters don't have access to the forms menu in TM. They can only access the operations menu.
In that case I believe you need to create different organizations (let's see them as departments) and then sort the forms on them.
After that, users can be assigned to the organizations and won't be able to see anything on TM from another organization which they are not members.
I'm going to investigate internally a bit more, off the top o mi head I can see only that solution.
Thanks Julio. That what I was expecting would be the case.
