It would be REALLY , REALLY helpful if I could import json into maestro to update forms like you could with xml in composer. At the moment I can't even unzip and then rezip then import an exported form as it appears to have some hash checking going on.

This would be great to allow for programmatic generation or modification of forms, something that we did in composer regularly.

This is supported via the Transact SDK:

awesome. presumably i could still do this even if I'm running TM 5 on our production server?

Hmmm not sure. Probably worth checking the documentation. I have a feeling that the ability to push/pull Maestro JSON was introduced with TM version 17.10

If I'm talking to maestro in the cloud and it if it is backed by TM >= 17.10 then it shouldn't matter what version our production server (which is hosted on our infrastructure ) is running because I'm just pushing and pulling data into and out of the cloud based maestro server, right?

So long as my client libraries, e.g. the sdk are >= 17.10 and support the push/pull api
