Any experience with what could cause a "Not authorised" error on submit/save?

I just tried to troubleshoot an issue where a client who got this error on a form that they started yesterday. No 'No User Activity in Form Max Time' option selected in the form.

I couldn't get any useful information from the client but was hoping someone might have some ideas what situation might cause an error like that? They had submitted this exact same form a few days earlier, so it's unlikely to be user account related.

      Hi Lin,

If they are using unauthenticated sessions, this could be a session time-out issue.

Can you let me know what the current TM setting are under Services > All Services > Form Submission Access Controller - v1 > User Agent Save Challenge Session Recovery?

If unauthenticated, setting this to Enabled, might correct this issue. This is because it re-establishes the connection when it expires.

      Thanks,
      Alan

        Thanks Alan!

        Ours is set to 4.3.0SP2.

Do you know if any documentation on this exists? I'm not entirely sure what the consequences may be of setting it to Enabled or Disabled.

        Hi Lin,

It should actually help if you are having dropped sessions, as its purpose, when Enabled, is to automatically recover user sessions if they time out or there is some type of TM session fail-over.

Currently, I do not see any documentation that goes into detail on this feature and I will see if I can get our Knowledge Team to add some material covering this in the future.

        Cheers,
        Alan
