Is it possible to set a section heading to it's collapsed state when a form is opened? I want to have instructions about the form available, but collapsed so it can be opened only if necessary rather than on display every time the form is opened.

        Hi Doug,
I'm assuming you're using the 'Standard Form Template' for your forms, if not there might be some variation required to what I'm about to describe. In any case the process should be similar. What we need to do is find the collapse button in the structure of our form and change its initial value from 'true' (shown) to 'false' (hidden).
        Steps:

        1. In the 'Structure' pane, ensure you have internal fields shown by clicking the cog icon labelled 'Show internal fields'.

        2. Next, navigate to the collapse button in the structure, for me this was:

          • "FormName > Instructions > _outerArea > _noncontentArea > _headerArea > _outerArea > _buttonBlock > _collapseButton"

        3. Now, edit the properties of the '_collapseButton' element.

        4. In the property editor show advanced properties by clicking the cog icon in the top right corner labelled 'Shown advanced properties'.

        5. With advanced properties shown, navigate to the 'Data' tab and change the 'Initial Value' from 'true' to 'false'

        6. Save the property changes and your form, now when you preview the form that section should be collapsed by default.

        Cheers,
        Jye
