I'd like to use the front-facing camera on an ipad mounted in a kiosk stand that a user can present an ID card that contains a QR code. With the rear-facing camera, you have to hold the card behind the kiosk and move the card around until the code is in front of the camera - a skill which seems to elude many people! With a front facing camera, the user can see the camera lens and hold the card in front of it while looking at the line up on the screen. Is there any way to specify which camera to use?

        Hi Doug,
No, this is part of the camera functionality of the device to select which camera to use. There should be a button to press that tells it to switch between the front and rear camera.
There is also the issue that the front camera can be low res. We have found that QR code scanning doesn't work in low res cameras.
        Regards
        Chantal
