Is it possible to add the custom Internet Message Header Extension "X-Protective-Marking" to an email as described in the Australian Government document http://www.finance.gov.au/files/2012/04/EPMS2012.3.pdf

      Hi Bruce,

With the TM 4.3.2 release we added support for pluggable email services. Please see the release notes below:

      Transact Manager 4.3.2 Release Notes

There is also a topic on this in the Transact Service Guide > Groovy Services API > Email Service

      regards Malcolm

        Hi Malcolm,

        Thanks for the quick response.

I have used ServiceFactory.getEmailService() service within a groovy script to send emails in the past, but this does not appear to have an API to update the message headers, or not that I could find.

Was that what you had in mind or are there other APIs to send emails that I should use.

        Regards

        Bruce

Probably the easiest way to implement this would be to create a Groovy Email Service which implements the additional "X-Protective-Marking" headers.

There would probably need to be some convention with the security classification specified in the email subject, being used to automatically specify the addtional protective marking headers.

          regards Malcolm Edgar
