Anyone know if it is possible to have a list of optional attachments, but enforce a minimum of one attachment upload before you allow them to submit? Like a mandatory group...

        Hi Lin,
This is possible in Transact 4.1 using the new in-form attachments feature. Attachment fields can have mandatory rules set, which allows their mandatory status to be updated dynamically. It is possible with either a rule based, or script based mandatory rule on each attachment to achieve this functionality. I would be happy to provide an example if that would be useful.
In Transact 4.0 and earlier it is not possible, as the mandatory status can't be updated once the form has been submitted. One alternative solution could be to have a single mandatory attachment rule in a repeating block and have the respondent indicate how many attachments they would like to upload prior to submission. Or if the list of attachments is fixed, add check boxes to the form that enable the respondent to indicate which attachments they will upload.
        Hope this help,
        Jye
