Is it possible to download attachments from within the form in the second and subsequent steps of a collaboration process? It looks like it should be a clickable link but the cursor changes to the red circle with line through it. (Apparently known as the 'No symbol' or 'prohibition sign' - you learn something every day.)

Thanks,

Lin

      Hi Lin,

We have done some testing and it looks like you are correct. When the editability is set on the widget the allow download on disable works as intended. However if it is set on the parent section this prevents the widget from properly detecting the disable and will not allow downloading of attachments.

      Josh

HI Josh, Thanks for testing this. I meant to do that but we have just been too busy. At least that provides us with an easy workaround. It would be great to have this work if the editability is on the block or section in a future release. Thanks, Lin

      Hi Lin,

I created a sample form but found that the link was always disabled. (see below)

I have logged an issue with our Composer team AVT-4014.

Would you be able to create a Support ticket and attach your sample form details and Collaboration Job.
Please include AVT-4014 so we can link your support ticket.

I will update the KB as soon as I hear back

      Cheers

      Larry

        Hi Larry,

The form we are testing this in a has the editability rule on the Section 2 that the attachment widget sits in. The Allow Download on Disable checkbox is ticked. But I still cannot download it in the second step of the collab process. Is it possible that this only works if the edit rule is on the actual attachment, not on the section?

        Thanks,

        Lin

          Hi Lin,

Yes its possible using an inform attachment field. There is documentation here for Composer (See Attachment Field).

The following example has an inform attachment field that is read only at the Application Review step. This means that the reviewer can download the file but not delete it.

          1 Step Review Job

          Cheers
