I'm currently doing a practice project in Maestro. I created a custom re-usable block from one I had already styled, but when I dragged a new block into the form it had only default styles; all values for padding, color, etc. had been removed.

Is there a way to make styling persist from the original block to the new one?

      Hi Brian,

Move your item styles into a shared style on your shared component. You may need to create a new shared style if there is not already a suitable one to use. On republishing, the component on your form should be fixed.

As show in the warning that Maestro displays on publishing a shared component, item styles are not inherited by instances of that component used in forms.

      Regards,

      Ben
