Hi Sacha,
i must be missing something simple. here is the snapshot from my composer.
here is what is on my confirmation page.
and here is snapshot from my submitted form's xml from Transaction manager.
I hope this is helpful to find the issue.
thanks again.
Normally, you only need to make one setting:
If you're using Composer:
If you're using Maestro:
This has the effect of automatically setting a Transact Manager Version Configuration Mapping. This is the default place where the applicant's email address can be stored for the purpose of using out of the box services such as confirmation emails.
This is not used for secondary emails or custom destinations, in which case, a data extract might be useful.
thanks, I have done the composer part, however I dont have Maestro. is there a work around without Maestro?
You only need to do the Composer part. Your question was not clear which form authoring tool you were using, so I provided answers for both.
oh yes you are right, I just done that for composer part and still the email field in confirmation page is not populated by value from form.
I have a form which along with other fields also grabs email address from the user. At the confirmation page I have an option to send mail. I want to use the already entered email. I am using following in my confirmation mail.
Email looks like as below in confirmation page.
I want this text box to be populated with email which I already have in submitted form.
