Is it possible to add an icon to the Text Display component?
I'm trying to achieve a display that shows (conditionally):
<icon> Your Identity has been verified, or
<icon> Your identity has not been verified, blah blah
is it possible to achieve this in a single Text Display component, or do I need to use two components, an image and a text display?
Hey Mark, you can use the font awesome icons in your text display.
When you edit the text display component, select the Source view and you can add html code. The following example styles a text display to appear exactly the same as a field error message. Note the use of the exclamation triangle font awesome icon.
<div class="err-msg list-group">
<p class="list-group-item list-group-item-danger textField_error">
<span class="fa fa-exclamation-triangle"> </span>
<span id="textField_error" role="alert" aria-live="assertive" class="message">
that's what I was looking for; I knew that Maestro was using font awesome, I just couldn't figure out how to get the icons into the test display.
I'll give this a try.
I've got the basics working; just need to experiment a bit and learn about what other classes are available and what they look like. I'm on the right track and have a presentable solution at this stage, but I'll see if I can push the boundaries a bit further.
