Using the regular expression we can able to display the warnings to the user like above image, Like wise we need to have a validation for checking empty string on Blur event. But in the Blur event we can able to set an alert alone,if we try to return the error the text is also returning inside the text box. Please suggest how we can display the warning message on blur event or is there any way of appending one more regular expression check with different error message. Like 1.Only spaces and letters 2. Name is empty

Do you mean that you want the mandatory check performed immediately on blur, rather than on page change / submit? Is the field doing what you want in terms of validation when you click "Continue" to go to the next page?

Tim, Maestro will add the inline message and highlighting if a mandatory field is cleared without clicking continue, this is just asking for a once you leave a field if it is mandatory then highlight it. Composer has the option to switch between these mandatory highlighting options.

You do not do validation by creating a Blur rule, the correct way to do this is to put your validation logic into your Validation rule. You can only have one Validation rule on a field so you must edit the Validation rule to support multiple error messages.

If you add your regular expression validation to the field as you mentioned and save, then click on the Validation Rule to open it again you will see the JavaScript code that was generated, e.g.:

You can modify this JavaScript to include support for as many regular expression checks as you wish by creating multiple RegExp variables and checking them in sequence, and return a different message for each check.
