I have a collaboration form (anonymous) with an attachment in the first step. When I click on the file name for the attached file in the second step, I consistently get following error:

HTTP Status 401 - Not Authorized

type Status report

message Not Authorized

description This request requires HTTP authentication (Not Authorized).

Avoka Transact

Any ideas what may be causing this? I know this worked in Composer, but this is the first time we try it in Maestro.

Thanks,

Lin

My team mate discovered it was caused by the collaboration job not specifying to carry over attachments in that second step. She just added it and it now works.

Also, we unfortunately are still on TM 4.3. Hopefully not much longer!

        Hi Lin,

Is the user who is receiving the 401 the one who has been assigned the task?

it's anonymous collaboration, so it is not assigned to a user. Can only authenticated users download attachments?

Anonymous access should be OK, as long as the form space settings allow anonymous or mixed access.

You mean if the form's Flow Config is set to Anonymous only or left blank? Because it was.

I just tried this again and thought I'd see what happened if I tried to delete the attachment in the second step. I got an error msg saying something like 'the attachment isn't associated with the submission'. But it got removed after I clicked ok. I could then save it from there.

And then I could also open it without any issues in the third step.

I was really only referring to the TM console settings for the Form Space Authentication Mode:

You might find some more helpful information at Task Types - Anonymous, Form and Review

If you have access to the TM console, you might also find more specific information in the System/Event Log.
