Hi Team,

Can we achieve a form link expiry?

For instance, we send an email to the customer with a form link. If the customer does not submits an application within a stipulated time frame the link in the email expires.

Thanks

Aman

      Hi Aman,

you might need to use Core SDK groovy service instead of Fluent but you can achieve this in a few ways

      1. for tasks you create via API you can use Submission.setTaskExpiryTimestamp() and TM will make the task expire for you

      2. for user saved forms you can utilize the "Form Security Filter" service, check the submission's dates (created/saved : now)  and resolve expiry date > redirect the user away if the submissoin the user is accessing already "expired"
      3. recommended > for fresh form submissions configure form's abandonment policies so Saved forms are abandoned after x days: Form Details > Abandonment > "Saved Transactions (days)" - this config applies to fresh forms explicitly saved by users (thats when normally a resume form email is sent out)

      cheers, Miro
