Hi,

I've been trying to personalise the welcome text on a form, using the information passed through the URL string.

Knowing how to pre-fill a field using the "Request Param Prefill Mappings" in TM, I've created a number of data fields which are pre-filled using the URL param's (Name, Event time, Date, etc). From here I've used the $FLOAT code to personalise my welcome note:

Hi $FLOAT{FirstName_linkedField},[br/][br/]

We're pleased to hear that you are able to join us at $FLOAT{EventTime_linkedField} on the $FLOAT{Date_linkedField} at our $FLOAT{Event_linkedField} event.[br/][br/]
[link:$FLOAT{CalendarLink_linkedField}]Add this event to your calendar now[/link]

Issue. When I promote this to TM and test the form, despite the data fields capturing the URL param's, I get the following:

Hi ##UNKNOWN##,

We're pleased to hear that you are able to join us at ##UNKNOWN## on the ##UNKNOWN## at our ##UNKNOWN## event.

Does anyone know how to fix this, are have an  alternate way of personalizing a welcome note?

Cheers,

Nick

      Hi Nick,

I have had one of the team take a look. Give it another go now.

      Cheers,

      Adam

So now after attempting it a seventh time, I receive a "Null" message for each $FLOAT value...

The floating field appears to capture the "data-value" (Data-value="Colin") but doesn't render it on screen.

        So close, yet so far...

          Hi Nick,

Are you adding the floating fields using the "Insert Floating Field" button? The notation alone is not enough to establish the link.

          Regards,

          Jye

Hey Jye, I've been using the 'insert' button. Do you know if a field (like a data field) needs to be submitted before a floating field can reference it?

Hi Nick, the data fields don't need to be submitted, the floating fields should update dynamically at run-time.

Hey Jye, I'm now getting a "null" message despite the value being captured by the Float value.

Hi Nick, if you have a form on one of Avoka's cloud Composer instances I would be happy to take a quick look tomorrow (I'm in the US). My email is jcusch@avoka.com
