After a user has selected an item from an autocomplete field, given than the JSON supplied to that autocomplete field was an array of label/value pairs, e.g.:


[{"label":"One", "value":"1"}, {"label":"Two", "value":"2"}, ...]


How do I retrieve the "value" of a selected autocomplete item rather than the "label"?  During an 'On List Item Select' event would seem ideal.

If this isn't a supported feature yet, how can I achieve this now?  Could I perhaps hide the ID value in the label?

      I've tried everything over the past 24 hours, including inspecting the JavaScript objects created by Maestro at form runtime in the F12 developer tools.  It would appear that this is not a supported feature yet.  Accordingly, I have raised a feature request here:


      IDEA-177 - JIRA project doesn't exist or you don't have permission to view it.
